The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) releases the notification for the post of Probationary Officers PO in the public sector banks of the country. It conducts the Common Written Examination (CWE) for recruiting officers in Indian Banks. The authority conducts the recruitment process in two phases i.e. Preliminary and Main exam after clearing the candidate will go through the interview process.

  1. Graduate from a UGC recognized University
  2. Age Limit: 20 years – 30 years as of July 1, 2021, though, there are age relaxations in some categories
    and,
  3. The Candidate needs to be an Indian Citizen

The Application Fee for IBPS PO Exam is 600/- INR for General Category Applicants and 100/- INR for SC/ST/PWD Applicants.

Application Form Filling Process for IBPS PO Exam 2021

  1. Start filling out the basic information parts such as name, phone number, E-mail id, etc.
  2. Secondly, upload your digital signature image file, scanned photograph, left thumb impression, &a handwritten declaration by you
  3. Finish the entire process by paying up the fees according to your category. This can be done either by Net banking, Debit Card, Credit Card, Wallet, or any other mentioned process
    and,
  4. The confirmation page will appear which has to be either downloaded or printed out immediately for future use

IBPS PO Interview Round

The IBPS PO Interview comes after the candidate has cleared both Prelims and Mains. It a round of 100 marks for each candidate. Out of these 100 marks a student has to score 40% to clear it. For Reservation Category Students the percentage is 35%.

It is organized by the participating and nodal banks of each state. Every candidate is marked on his/her communication skills.

PO Salary Range Expectations

The salary range of a PO comes from around 35,000/- (INR) to 40,000/- (INR) cash-in-hand.
