The Young India Fellowship (YIF) is a one year multidisciplinary postgraduate diploma programme in Liberal Studies. Candidates from any discipline including engineers, designers, commerce graduates or literature enthusiasts can enrol for it.

The MA programme MA in Liberal Studies

The MA in Liberal Studies is a one-year programme taken by students who have graduated with a diploma in Liberal Studies from the Young India Fellowship, and have been accepted by an Ashoka faculty mentor to work on a specific research project as a graduate assistant.

Those appearing for their final examinations are eligible to apply. Applicants who have completed their Class 12 / Pre-University board examination previous year are also eligible to apply. Applicant should not be older than 19 years of age while joining the programme and should have successfully completed 12th standard examination (or its equivalent) with a minimum of 50% marks. The university also accepts SAT, KVPY and other national entrance test scores for admissions.

M.A. Education – The Programme is designed as a 72-credit, 2-year full time postgraduate degree programme. Common core curriculum including introduction to research, that lays the foundation in the first year.
